PAO oils are generally miscible with mineral oil (the CASSIDA TDS does not state this separately), but for an NSF H1 oil the old oil must be drained fully, the system flushed and the oil filter and separator element replaced: residual non-H1 oil cancels the H1 status of the new fill. Do not top up over PAG or POE oils (not miscible) – those cases require flushing. A Hop Tien engineer confirms the base oil in use before the change.
