EMKARATE RL 32H

Follow the compressor manufacturer's recommendation on the nameplate or in the manual. RL 32H is typically used in small and medium reciprocating and scroll compressors and centrifugal chillers; RL 68H in HFC screw and reciprocating compressors for cold storage and industrial refrigeration, and is the factory-fill oil of many compressor makers. Do not change the viscosity grade on your own; a Hop Tien engineer confirms before filling.

POE oils are strongly hygroscopic: keep cans sealed, charge quickly and evacuate the system before charging. When retrofitting from mineral oil to POE/HFC, drain and replace the oil several times until the residual mineral oil is below the compressor OEM's limit (typically a few percent, per OEM literature); do not use POE in ammonia systems. An HFC refrigeration system is a closed loop and cannot be trialled in part; the safe approach is to change over one stand-alone compressor following the full procedure (drain, evacuate, charge quickly, measure water in oil) and monitor oil pressure, temperature and moisture for three months before rolling out.
