Per the TDS, ester-based oils are miscible with mineral oil, but mixing in service is not recommended: old oil and carbon residue reduce the cleaning action and life of the new oil. For a changeover: remove old residue from chains and rails, run out the old oil and then feed the new oil; check compatibility with paints, plastics and seals per the TDS. A Hop Tien engineer assists at the machine.
